Need help with a LED Driver Replacement

I have what I believe is an LED driver that I need to replace but I am unable to find the part number anywhere.

It is an 8-pin SMD with “FMD B2QA0KE” on the top. I need to find a replacement.

Hello @dcallahan9

Welcome to the TechForum

I was not able to find that chip using those part markings If you could post a photo of the chip, we might be able to help you find the chip you are looking for.

It is part of an LED circut, there are two buttons that control the color rotation and speed and they have traces running to this chip, which then has traces running to the LEDs. That is what is leading me to think this is an LED driver.

You can also see from the image, why I need to replace it.

I found this: NCL30088DDR2G onsemi | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | DigiKey

Hi dcallahan9

I am not able to verify part marking B2QA0KE or B2QAOKE.
Without being able to verify the part marking or knowing the specifications for the part, I am not able to offer a replacement.

I am unable to verify the part marking either. It does not match teh ON Semi part you show.

This chip is made by the company Fremont Micro Devices Corporation (FMD). (Fremont Micro Devices)
I advise you to send a photo of the microcircuit to sales@fremontmicro.com and ask for the name.

Are you sure about this?
Take a photo of the entire board so that the surroundings of the chip are visible.
