I need to replace Ormon relay PN G2RL-1-E-BG. I do not find this PN available. There are similar PNs but not with the BG. I can’t determine what the BG represents. Please suggest an Ormon PN to purchase as a replacement. Thank you…
Hello TPT, welcome to the Forum Community! The “BG” is not a suffix that is described in the datasheet for this Omron series, which leads me to believe it is a custom or proprietary part, manufactured for a specific product. You didn’t mention the voltage you need, these are the stocking options that we have. You can choose the option which is closest to your relay. The datasheet should help with the detailed specifications.
Thank you Jenny. Here is a photo of my “BG” relay. It is a 12vdc coil, contacts rated for 16a, 250v. Package has a total of 8 pcb leads, 6 for the contacts, and 2 for the coil. This is installed in a SunTouch electric floor heater thermostat. It has failed after several years and I want to repair it. Best I can tell is that your pn G2RL-1-E-CF DC12 is the best match.
I appreciate your support. Thank you…
Hi TPT - yes, I agree - that looks like your best option.
