Hi All, I am about to order OX01F10 dev.board: OX01F10-EXAE-BA0C. Will I be able to download software for controlling this dev.board?

Hello dejan, welcome to the TechForum! I don’t see any documentation regarding the evaluation board. The manufacturer may have a user guide; however, they may ask for customer details. Could you provide any production schedule details or are you just in a development phase right now? I can ask for a manual and if you have access to software by purchasing the board. Please do not share any personal details such as name or email address.

I was able to see the OX0 line is more of a ready to install system from the information on the manufacturers site, but I did locate a possibly more suitable series from them and have it on the link below.

This seems more of a fully functional device without much for customization.

OX0 info

OV02775-EXAE-BA0B series seems to have this environment available.

Thanks Kaleb, we are the development phase, trying to move from older ON semi automotive to OX01F10. Please ask for the manual - usually this is a generic description of a functionality, with bunch of listed registers. From past experience, very difficult to get proper driver designed. Best option is the dev.board + controlling software, allowing you to adjust the image, then fetch register values. These register set values are used in my FW image… Done this with ONSEMI ASX340AT (dev.board purchased from Digikey).

I have reached out to the manufacturer. I will reply when they get back to me. I may have to DM you if this information is proprietary to the manufacturer.

dejan, the manufacturer responded pretty quickly. They said the board does give access to the software. They even mentioned that a manual should be sent via email once the board is received. Do you need the manual beforehand ?

Please ask for manual beforehand, I can get familiar with the details. I had just tried to place an order for OX01F10-EXAE-BA0C and got the message “The following parts cannot be exported or shipped to your destination and will be deleted from your order.“ Do I need to sign an NDA or some Export compliance thing?

@dejan I have been informed from Omnivision that “They do not have manuals for the evaluation kits, just the software with instructions.”

I will see what happens, tried chat with people from Digikey sales about the restriction, they weren’t much of a help…

The internal process for determining any applicable export restrictions does not appear to have been completed for the item in question at this time. Until that process is completed, DK will not be able to ship this item outside the US.

Clear! However, is Digikey going to determine applicable export restrictions for shipping to Serbia (alternatively to Australia or Netherlands)?

Export restrictions are based on the export control classification number assigned to an item; any country-specific restrictions that apply are determined according to the current standards for the ECCN that is assigned.

I’ve been told that the export codes for this item have been updated, though such changes often do take some time to percolate through the various databases involved.
