PandaBoard-ES Rev B3 - No network connection

Hello,
after proceeding twice with https://www.digikey.com/eewiki/display/linuxonarm/PandaBoard I don’t have any network connectivity (neither eth0 nor wlan0). Had anyone simmilar problem? I have checked on two boards (we have couple of them in office). Also Ubuntu 18.01 is using netplan (not ifupdown).

Thank you for great wiki page about PandaBoard! We have in our company couple of them and those were lying without purpouse because lack of software.

I have followed wiki step by step and PandaBoard-ES B3 is booting (finally!), but it doesn’t see any network adapters.

Also one comment: on Ubuntu 18.04.1 (which I’m using) ipdownup is not longer use - they use netplan. I tried both ways, but still nothing.

I have tried twice - first with everything according to Wiki, and second with other (newer) packages (Linaro 7.3.1, U-boot v2019.1, Ubuntu 18.04.1 2018.12.26).

Kernel which I’m using right now is 4.14.x (previously I tried 4.19.x).

Regarding smsc95xx. I’m attaching log from COM1.

Didn’t found module that you mentioned. Also lsmod shows empty list.

@marverix, please run “sudo depmod -a” we use compressed modules and it looks like your development pc didn’t generate that… (ubuntu finally updated kmod in 18.10 to support xz modules by default.)

@marverix, it doesn’t output any information, lsmod should show a few modules loaded, otherwise after a reboot more things should be shown with lsmod…

Nope… Command rfkill unblock wifi is not working for me. I mean in theory it is working, but still for some reason wifi is going down. In free time I will try 4.19 kernel. My last idea is to try to calibrate adapter according to TI tutorial.
