Part numbering for MPC55xx Qorivva series

I was wondering what the M and S stand for and what their differences are. I was thinking multiprocessor vs single? Thank you!

It looks like SPC5517SBMLQ66 is just the IC while MPC5510KIT144 is an evaluation board. Unfortunately I was unable to find information on the manufacturers website to confirm if the first character in the part number is referring to single or multi core.
