Is the T suffix no longer needed on TDK MLCC parts such as 3225X5R1A156MT If the T suffix is still needed for the tape and reel why do we have it listed without it in our system?
The T suffix is not needed by TDK distributors anymore because the parts are only offered in T&R. Many years ago, their MLCC’s used to be available in bulk and T&R, so the T suffix was needed to call out T&R. They have since dropped the T suffix, but it has been added to the family screen because some customers still have that suffix on their BOMs.
