µPC8215TU

Hi All, I have a chip labelled 8215 only and it is in a GPS receiver. It has a couple corroded legs and I am wondering if I can find a replacement.

My research has led me to: µPC8215TU and it seems to fit the circuit as well.

They are listed as discontinued on DigiKey, but I am wondering if anyone can help point me to an alternative? Or where to find them?

Thank you for contacting the Tech Forum.

The Closest options we have, not matching footprint or parameters very close, 8 lead SMD are all obsolete

Hopefully you are able to find a better option than changing footprints but may not be possible.
