The intent of this post is to present the method of creating a part number applicable to these two series of banana connectors from Pomona. While it is true that information presented here will be applicable to other products from the supplier, the scope of this post is not meant to cover them and not necessarily universal to ALL Pomona products.

Most Pomona products come prepacked in individual bags or in small pack quantities. Sometimes however, they will come in a bulk quantity packaged together. This can be distinguished in the part number by the presence of a “#” at the end of the part number. If you were to visit the product page on this part you would see that you would have to order 500 pieces of these. Part number 1825-0 is the exact same part, you can purchase them by the single pieces however.

In some rare cases when two colors are paired together such as when you get one black (0) and one Red (2), This will be indicated by placing one number right after the other.
