I work long time at developer department of smart electricity metering devices.
In our production we apply PLC modems, such as IT900 Yitran’s brand. All time we have a large problems with support service from Yitran side. Hardware are everything okay. But software have many mistakes and producer don’t want to solve bugs. Therefore modules work with troubles or don’t work any thinks.
Second problem it’s lead time for IT900. Yitrain indicates lead time over 16weeks and postpones delivery date up to 30 weeks.
Otherwise, we had no problems with IT700 chips, until Yitran stopped it’s production, and forced us to redesign our PLC system for IT900 chip.
I highly not recommend to use Yitran IT900 components.
