Radiocrafts’ Sigfox module series come pre-certified for the global Sigfox network. These modules contain a communication controller with embedded Sigfox protocol software and are certified for operation under FCC and ACMA. The modules come preloaded with unique device IDs, PAC codes, and encryption keys.
According to the User Guide, Radiocrafts programs each device with the correspondent ID and PAC in configuration memory. It is the responsibility of the end product manufacturer to extract this information and forward it to the final customer i.e. to print the ID and PAC onto the label of product.
The ID and PAC from module can be retrieve by using the “9” command when module is in configurated mode.
