RC Circuit Discharge Transistor

Hi

Been told an RC circuit will charge and discharge once.

To get it to work as an oscillator or just oscillate you should use a transistor with it.

We found a resistor/capacitor/transistor circuit.

Anybody want to take a look at it for us?

Have a nice day

Bob

Goal is to get some transitors and make an RC oscillating circuit.

Then measure it with a scope.

Hi Verna

Can this be done with one transistor?

With the resistor & capacitor.

Have a nice day

Bob

I am going to send this to the group as I have no idea. Sorry. Hopefully someone will have an answer on this one. I do not.

Hi Verna

Okay.

Thank you

Have a nice day

Bob

Do you have a list of the transistors you need ,or the other parts , so they must have a part list for this build otherwise if you replacing parts they should have part marking to identify them. I do see they still sell the kit.

Hi Robert

We would like to make a circuit like this on a breadboard.

The resistor and capacitor.

Plus hopefully one transistor.

So that it is a stand alone circuit.

Have a good evening

Bob

ok but the issue is what is the transistor part number you want, as I can see a pnp but do not and full specs as to what you need. Click Here
