Looking at the Recom RAC04NE-12K/277 or any other product [similar footprint] for powering a device we have developed.
Q: need to know if the Transformers Primary to Secondary windings are isolated via a physical isolation barrier and not just winding varnish insulation. This a requirement for AU 61558-2-16, as the 12vdc also goes off the device to remote items.
If someone could help me, It would be greatly appreciated

I do not see the AU 61558–2-16 approval listed in the documentation for part number RAC04NE-12SK/277 and the only similar approve I found in that document is the IEC 61558-1 (2-16). You may need to reach out to Recom directly about the internal makeup of the transformer and there contact part is listed below.
I did check for other transformer options, but I did not find one that has the same attributes with the AU 61558-2-16 as a listed approval agency
