Resistor NH0251R250HE02,Is it made of copper-nickel alloy?

Hello @2391145476

Welcome to DigiKey TechForum.

Yes, it’s copper-nickel alloy or nickel-chrome alloy, depending on resistance value.

Hello
I have read the specification sheet. Judging from the data, it seems to be made of copper-nickel alloy. I plan to use this resistor near the liquid helium temperature range. Copper-nickel alloy and nickel-chromium alloy show significant differences in performance at this temperature, so I hope to clarify what kind of material it is.

The 1.25 Ohm value for this part number would likely use copper-nickel alloy, which is common for lower resistances. But there is no document stating this.

The datasheet shows that the part is only rated for use down to -55°C, so the manufacturer makes no guarantee that it will work in any reliable way at your ultra low temperature.

Thank you for your reply. I plan to purchase some first for the experiment.
