With A116128-ND (TE Connectivity# 2213145-1) being moved into last-time-buy status, we’ve had requests for replacement. Based on the specifications, and input from a TE rep, we were able to determine that the best option seems to be part number A116129-ND. Here’s the basic reasoning:
It looks like A116129-ND is an equivalent that is simply designed for mm2 wire sizes instead of AWG, effectively making it a direct equivalent as long as the customer isn’t using the very outside extremes of the smalles or largest possible wire diameters. For reference A116129-ND is compatible with down to 0.75mm2, while A116128-ND is for down to 18AWG. 18AWG is roughly equivalent to 0.80mm2.
