Replacement triple output power supply

I have a bad “LPT23” power supply in a device Im working on. DigiKey says the power supply is discontinued and “NPT43M” is a suitable replacement but looking at the datasheets for both power supplies it seems the DC output headers have different pinouts. Also the LPT23 is a 12v, 5v, and -12v power supply while the NPT43M outputs 15v, -15v, and 5v.

Is there a drop in replacement for the Artesyn LPT23 with the same output voltage pinouts or am I just going to have to find something close with the same output voltages and current ratings and swap some pins around in the wiring harness of my device?

Thanks!

Hello Deezdrama,
Thank you for posting on our forum and welcome to our community.
I am sorry to inform you the manufacture no longer supports PN LPT23.
I can offer a compare chart between the listed cross.

I think I found a plug and play replacement.
The Cincon cfm40t-02

Same output voltages and current ratings, same ripple current, even the same exact pinout.
Only negative is a smaller footprint so the mounting standoffs wont match but hopefully this will do the job, thanks.

I have submitted an error report regarding the NPT43-M part as the output voltages are different. It looks like the NPT42-M should have been the correct suggestion.

I noticed that too, what do you think about the cincon cfm40t-02 ?

Its the only thing i found with same voltages, ratings, and same exact pinout.

Only bad thing is its footprint and mounting holes are smaller so will have to find a way to mount it but looks like it is plug and play otherwise

That depends on if you need more than 300mA on the -12V rail.

The LPT3 has a current rating of 500mA on the -12V.

Yeah, Its an old Extron matrix switcher. They dont publicly share specs on there equipment, not their old stuff anyway. It has 4 inputs and 2 outputs. I just plan to use 3 inputs and 1 output so fingers crossed that the cincon will handle it.

Thanks
