RF Circulators and Isolators

This Product Selection Guide contains information to help select products in the RF Circulators and Isolators category on DigiKey.com

RF Circulators and RF Isolators are passive devices that guide and suppress radio frequency. These are used to protect receiver circuitry. These are filtered by type, frequency range, isolation, connector type, and more.

SelectionCharacteristics

Type: Describes the physical shape/style of a product.

Frequency: Indicates the range of frequencies over which these circulators and isolators are designed for use.

Isolation: A measure of the difference of power applied to a device’s input port and the portion thereof that appears at its isolated port, when properly terminated.

Power - Average Forward: The average amount of power drawn by the product when used under manufacturer-defined test conditions.

Insertion Loss: A measure of power losses incurred by signals passing through a device, under manufacturer-defined test conditions.

VSWR: Voltage Standing Wave Ratio; a measure of how well an antenna matches the impedance of it’s intended connection medium. (Lower values are typically better)

Connector Type: Indicates the style/format of the connectors used to connect this product.

Package / Case: The protective case on an electronic component which allows for easy handling, installation, and protects the device. This is what we determined is the closest industry standard to the supplier device package. Typically, it is best to use the actual dimensions from the datasheet rather than to go by this terminology when designing your circuit.

Supplier Device Package: This is what the manufacturer calls the package of this device. They are manufacturer specific. It is typically best to use the actual dimensions from the datasheets rather than to go by this terminology when designing your circuit.
