Hello, I’d like to know if the RLINK-STD has support for WIN7 and WIN10 system with its USB drivers. Also, in the package are included an installation CD and the adaptor pcbs for connection ?
Tks,
Hi luis.futigami,
I could not find any documentation explicitly stating that the USB drivers for the RLINK-STD work with Windows 10. However, I did see documentation stating that it works with Windows 7 and newer versions. The documentation states that it comes with software licenses, but it does not mention a CD, so presumably you would have to download that. It does come with various adapters to plug into standard PC board interfaces for the various MCU’s for which it is designed to work.
I also found this from the Raisonance website:
The RLink includes licenses for RKit-ARM (Lite) and RKit-STM8 (Basic) software tool sets, which include device support, C toolchain and enable debugging and programming features of Ride7 and RFlasher.
RLink connects to microcontrollers mounted on an application or evaluation board via a range of communication protocols including:
- 20-pin JTAG for ARM® core-based devices
- SWD connection for ARM Cortex-M3 devices
- STMicroelectronics’ SWIM for STM8
- STMicroelectronics’ In-Circuit Communication for ST7*
RLink offers unlimited programming of all supported 8-bit and 32-bit devices while driven by either the free RFlasher7 programming software or the Ride7 integrated development environment.
RLink provides unlimited debugging of applications on supported 8-bit devices while driven from the Ride7 integrated development environment. Programming of supported ARM core-based 32-bit devices is unlimited and debugging is limited to:
- Debug 64 KB application code if microcontroller Flash is larger than 64KB
- Debug equal to 1/2 Flash size if microcontroller Flash is 64 KB or less
STX-RLINK
STX-RLINK is the STMicroelectronics’ part number for the Raisonance RLink-STD or “Standard”. The two products are technically identical, support the same range of microcontrollers and the same performance characteristics using the same software packages.
For more than a decade Raisonance has provided the RLink to STMicroelectronics for resale as the STX-RLINK. ST has since discontinued this resale arrangement, but we continue to support and sell the RLink to support users of STM32 and STM8 microcontrollers. In addition, the RLink also supports legacy microcontrollers that are not supported by other programmer/debuggers such as the ST7*, STR7 and STR9 families of devices.
