So, let me start off by saying that I’m a complete novice when it comes to thermistors, capacitors, ect. . My area of expertise is with building and repairing PCs and laptops, and being a competant solderer.
Anyways, my uncle whom works for an HVAC company brought me a Genteq 2.3 ECM CP04 motor with a shot thermistor. How hard could it be, I thought, figuring I would just type in the model number and viola!
How wrong I was.
Finding a replacement (I don’t care if its the same or different make, just that it works and works RIGHT) has been a nightmare. I’m not too savvy when it comes to ohms and voltages, so I could really use the help.
The matter is tracking down a suitable replacement, since I can handle the installation without issue.
