I use SCPI commands to operate load ITECH 8514B. I start with *CLS and get no error, then command *RST which I get execution error -200
What is the reason for the error?

A -200 error is a generic error.
My interpretation of *RST command is it doesn’t appear that *RST command is global. It seems this would be used in conjunction with a specific individual parameter setting.
It’s tough because the entire manual never gives an example/context of *RST in use, it only shows what the individual parameter would reset to if the command was used.
Yes I did like *ESR?,INP 1 and others.
