I need to “share” my cart link with the purchasing dept where I work so they can purchase my parts and boards.
If there are DK Red boards in my cart, apparently the share cart button does not appear.
Is there anyway around this or should I GIVE UP and order the boards from OSHPARK instead?

There is a separate process for sharing PCBs within PCB Builder that is outside of the share cart function.
After upload you have a share button that allows for sharing a design, kindly see below.
Your purchasing department should be able to do a cart share for parts and after those are loaded use the shortened URL this share button provides to add to the same cart.
