For the above cable, if read correctly, one end is SMP female; what is on the other end of the cable, SMA male or SMP female?

The part 127-0593-011 is a connector not a cable. This connector solders onto RG-405 Cable group type cable. So one side of the connector is the SMP plug with male pin, not female, and the other end is solder termination for both the shield and the contact for soldering on to RG405 cable group.
