Specific Date Code Requirements & Lot Code Requests

DigiKey has an option when placing an online order that allows the customer to request parts within a date code period. For example you may want parts that are under 6 months or 1 year , whatever your requirement is we will work to fulfill your date code request. A link to the order note page is available on the preview page during checkout.

You should then see a text box to enter your note request.

The order notes will be attached to the order ticket for that part and only parts within the required date period will be picked, if for some reason DigiKey does not have the parts required the customer will be notified of what we have available. This is a quicker more efficient way than calling in and asking what date codes we have in stock. If stock check for date and lot codes is the only inquiry before placing an order, please direct to Sales:


Please note as of 5/13/24 we no longer have the ability to check stock ahead of time, putting the date code request in the pick notes is the only way to get the date code you would like, if it is available.
