Torsion springs are helical springs with exposed coils that are used to provide a rotary force. These are filtered by their material, wire diameter, inner and outer coil diameter, max load weight, leg length, and more.


SelectionCharacteristics

Material: Indicates the material composition of the spring.

Wire Diameter: Indicates the diameter of the wire of which the spring is constructed

Diameter - Outside: The outside diameter of the spring.

Mandrel Diameter: Indicates the diameter of the shaft (mandrel) which the spring is designed to be mounted on.

Leg Length: The length of each end of the spring extending from the coil.

Deflection Angle: Indicates the angle of one leg of the spring compared to the first, with the first representing 0 degrees, in a free state.

Wind Direction: Indicates which direction the sping is coiled.

Number of Coils: Indicates how may times the spring wraps around the mandrel.

Finish: Indicates the finish/plating material applied to the device.
