I am looking for a replacement device for AT45DB081D-SU.
Is there another number that will drop in to the same location on the PCB as this device?

The manufacturer of that device, EOL’ed that version but designed a replacement with a few changes: AT45DB081E-SHN

Please review the datasheets to ensure the alternative will work for your application.
