Switchcraft 267 strain relief

As the title asks, is there a suitable strain relief available for the Switchcraft 267 plug?

Thank you for your inquiry.

I don’t see that there is any strain relief made for this audio barrel plug connector.

You often see instrument cable manufacturers with this style of connector use semi-flexible heat shrink to provide a strain relief, for example:

Heat Shrink Part Number: ATUM-9/3-0-SP from TE Connectivity Raychem Cable Protection

There is one other potential option with the 267S25, which has an integrated strain relief.

It is primarily designed for IP-66 water-proof connections when properly mated to the 12BW11 or the 12BW07, but I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work with any standard jack in non-waterproof applications.

Note that the strain relief is specifically designed for use with cables with diameters ranging from 0.231" [5.9mm] to 0.260" [6.6mm].

Thank you both for the reply. I think Ill go with the heatshrink tubing option as apperance wise its the closest to some vintage audio cables
