TE contact 647879-1, crimp tool is obsolete 1526955-1, any replacement?

TE is somewhat notorious for for not giving clear recommendations for hand tooling… Given that the product series in question is basically a second source for the APP product, the suggested tooling for those products would likely work well.
The TE application spec provides guidelines for proper contact application. Depending on your particular needs/circumstances, a more general-purpose sort of tool such as a 624 032 3 RT may be an option to consider.
