Generally, the board is assumed to be powered via USB connection to a host computer. That said, Terasic does indeed offer an external power adapter for this device, their FCB-3017-ULX universal adapter. If this product is unavailable on your timetable, you could try SWI12-5-E-P5R, though you may have to monkey with the connector on this third-party device to make it work.
