Thermistor Replacement Support

Hello! We are in the process of selecting a new component to replace Vishay component 01M1002JF (end of product life). Originally when I contacted support it was recommended that use component NTCLE201E3103SBA, however after further research I believe the specifications more closely align with the following 4 components: NTCLE203E3103JB0A, NTCLE101E3103JB0, NTCLE203E3103JB0, NTCLE201E3C90028.

If you could provide guidance or recommendation on which of these 5 components is most applicable to replacing the original component that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Greetings,

If one views those alongside each other, there’s not a great deal of difference. However, the Mfr. recommended alternative has somewhat tighter tolerances, such that (without doing the math) I would suspect that the small difference in nominal beta relative to the reference part is mostly compensated for by the tighter tolerance for error budgeting purposes.

It’s up to you to decide what your care-abouts and priorities are, and to ensure that whatever part you buy is suitable for your intended purpose. If you can tolerate some slight difference in behavior, it may be an opportunity to save a few dimes per unit.
