Hi,
Can someone confirm this is a TVS, and which one?

I am remaking this PCB and the PCB making place says they cannot put the part on the provided area. I either have the footprint wrong or the part wrong. Or possibly both.

Hi Eddiie,

Yes, that’s a unipolar TVS. Pretty certain it’s an SMA package, and that logo is the old General Semiconductor logo, now part of Vishay.

“AE” refers to 5.0V, so the SMAJ5.0A-E3/61 seems like the part in question.
