Thread quality on Adam Tech IDC connectors; and design style

I recently ordered a sampling of Adam Tech ribbon cable IDC D-Sub connectors in different sizes/genders. On many of them (e.g. both DE09-PF-M2 and DE09-SF-M2) the #4-40 threaded inserts do not meet standard thread specifications as tested with a Go/NoGo gage. In this case the go gage will not pass through. Some standard #4-40 hardware we have on hand even binds up trying to thread into the DE09-SF-M2. Can this issue be brought to Adam Tech’s attention and resolved on future production?

Also, the DC37-SF-M2 is of a different design than the photos and datasheet show. It is a functional substitute, but it’s a bit alarming that there would be a design change within the series without a part number change.

Please advise.
