Hello frank.schoenbaum and welcome to the forum,

For the 2SC869 I would reccomend taking a look at 2N5551TFCT-ND. I was not able to find a complementary part however.

My 1988 Sam’s cross reference guide shows NTE194 as replacement for 2SC869 and NTE 31 for 2SC2705. However they are not complementary transistors, they are both NPN but different power ratings.
