Working on a ampex tape deck.
Parts list specifications call for a “350uuf/500v mica cap”.
I have not seen “uuf” before. What is this value in modern common terms?
Can anybody help me figure this out?

Hi @Memphismagnetic, welcome to the forum!
Short answer uuF = pF…
micromicrofarads (μμF; now picofarads, pF)
