Wandboard debian 12 with kernel 6.11 - problem xorg generic

Hello, I have been able to create a new linux image, debian 12, with debian 12.1-minifsroot from the robert c nelson server, the problem comes when I want to install the x server to install an lxde environment, when installing the default xorg of debian 12, the mouse pointer becomes at an abnormal speed, as well as the scrolling of windows, it has a drag effect, the video is decoded by coda960, but I notice that it does not synchronize correctly, I have seen that the xserver-xorg-video-armada-etnaviv package is not included with debian 12, maybe that is the problem I have when I cannot use the xorg of the etnaviv drm driver.

How could I install the xorg-video-armada-etnaviv package? Will it be compatible with debian 12 and a 6.11 kernel?

Thanks

Hi @fhersete i’ve pretty much retired my build farm of WandBoard’s so graphics is something i don’t test anymore… Based on above, your on the modesetting driver, which is a common issue with this hardware, see: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/4584

Regards,

Thanks Robert, the truth is that there is no sbc that works perfectly, either the gpu fails, bbb style and now wandboard with the etnaviv drivers or something else fails, in short, all these problems make us learn more and better.

Thanks for the information, I hadn’t seen it, now I know why it doesn’t work correctly.
