Looking for a replacement thermal fuse for a hotpoint washing machine motor. I have no idea of what the label indicates.
Not had any luck searching for this item replacement so far.

Hello Terence.hamill,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
I was able to find some info on a 3MP thermal cutout. May be from Klixon.
The datasheet I found says the thermal cutout temperature can range from 80C to 170C, but there was no way to decipher the part number to verify the specs on the part.
Since the number does not come up anywhere, it is probably a proprietary part made for that OEM of the motor. Click here for the Thermal Cutouts we have from 80C to 170C temps.
These can handle 250V, and 15A of current.
Please check the datasheets to verify compatibility to your application.
Maybe one of the engineers can help narrow down the options, or find a better choice.
David thank you for the reply and information. I appreciate the time you’ve taken to look into it for me. I’m unsure of what could be a suitable match for the motor and will check the list and see.
The part I think looks similar to these:
Terence,
If the size of these match closer, you will have to crimp the wire leads to these. You will still have the problem of figuring out what temperature you want it rated for. The 3MP ones can be from 80C to 170C.
C1.B is on the motor label: Class B 130°c according to the site linked.
The second chart states 145°c trip rating.
