In addition to the basic soldering method of basic switches (see Explanation), note the following:

  • Soldering operation should be performed at or below the temperature and time specified in the specifications, and external force should not be applied for 1 minute after soldering.
  • Pay attention to the insulation distance after soldering.
  • When soldering to PWB, apply flux inhibitor (such as Surflon) to the switch mounting surface before use.
  • Do not clean open type switches after soldering.
