Question:

Which are the tactile switches with a long stroke?

Block

Answer:

Among Omron’s tactile switches, B3AL is a long-stroke product. Also, B3SL uses a rubber plunger and has a middle (second longest) stroke after B3AL.
Pre-travel (PT):
B3AL : 1.0 to 1.3 mm
B3SL : 0.3 to 0.8 mm

Explanation:

B3AL and B3SL use rubber for the plunger to secure the stroke. Since the rubber plunger is pushed directly into B3SL, the feel of B3SL is different from that of the standard type. B3AL model also has a different feel and is quieter than the normal models.
