We have received a number of calls regarding shipments of TVS diodes such as the TPD1E1B04DPYR (296-47364-2-ND) from Texas Instruments that have a part marking of A5 and not the marking called out in the datasheet. This is a known mistake; there is no functional difference in these parts it was just an error in manufacturing. The following part numbers were affected by this error, provided with a list of all acceptable part markings for each part (including the A5 mistake).
