This post provides clarifying information for the PCN: Ref Nr: PCN-20211022001 REV01 from Yageo
This PCN only applies to aluminum capacitors, ceramic capacitors will not be affected by the changes.
Here are the highlights from the PCN:
As a follow-up of YAGEO Corp. previous announce that E-Cap Branding will change from YAGEO to KEMET,
Brand name marking changed already to KEMET
There will be no change to the manufacturing location, processes, materials, equipment and personnel (anything that could affect fit, form and function of the product)
From August 1st 2022, all YAGEO E-caps orders will be taken by KEMET channel only, using KEMET
part numbers. Last time buy for YAGEO part numbers available until July 31, 2022.
Current orders on YAGEO E-cap part number and channel (SAP) with plant shipping date later than
December 31st 2022, must be canceled and ordered via KEMET part number and channel (ETBF).
REASONS: Global branding name of E-Cap is utilized with the intention of managing product lines more consistent.

Please note that the following list of parts receiving the change indicate series, they do not indicate all parts starting with these letters. For example part number CX0603MRX7R6BB104 starts with CX which is on the list, however it is from the X2Y Series of capacitors and will not be affected.
