Hello, I would like to order a 4.562 MHz crystal oscillator. Is that something that can be stocked or custom made?

We do not have a factory made oscillator with with frequency, but we do have programmable oscillators that we can program before shipping it to you.

Once you narrow down which one would work for your application, you can order that part number. When ordering, you need to specifiy the frequency you want it programmed to.

The frequency does not appear to be standard frequency stocked by Digikey. Here are several closely related parts.

Regarding the programmable oscillators, is there a way to have it be mounted to a breakout board?

I’m sorry but DigiKey does not offer that service of installing/mounting the programmed oscillator on to a breakout board or a protoboard. Though our customs department may be able to accommodate you.
If you have a programmable oscillator in mind and know its package size, you could locate a perf board or breakout board you would like it mounted on, and ask our customs department to see if that is something they would be wiling to do for you. I’m not sure if they can.
You would have to provide the part numbers of both parts, they have to be both in stock, and email your request to custom.orders@digikey.com.

As @Irfan_Koric alludes to, we do NOT solder components onto boards.
However, if you have the capability to solder the oscillator, or can find anyone to do so, we do sell the Skyworks SI5XX-EVB, which is an evaluation board which has the pads to accommodate the SI510 and SI511 series of programmable oscillators.
