The CR4100 dataheet does not mention high frequency and VFD use. Instead:
these devices are ideal in chopped wave and phase fired control systems.
This is a relatively low frequency operation associated with thyristors (SCRs) where the current for parts of a 60 Hz signal is measured.
Instead, you may be interested in this sensor as the datasheet does specify VFD operation.

The motor will generally look like an inductor. This will tend to smooth out the VFD’s pulsation.
