It will monitor parameters such as temperature, humidity, shock and tilt with capability to set acceptable limits on any one (or all) measurements. The lithium battery on this device boasts a long lifespan of 2 years. The device itself is IP54 rated. It syncs via Bluetooth to the free Bosch data logger app.
