The present article illustrates how to connect a 1500 mAH Lithium-Ion Battery to the SparkFun DataLogger IoT - 9DoF while it is connected to a Sparkfun MAX-M10S GNSS receiver board as described in the previous article SparkFun DataLogger IoT - 9D - Setting up DataLogger with GNSS. This Lithium-Ion of 1500 mAH
can be connected via the power port on the SparkFun DataLogger IoT - 9DoF, .
while it is connected via the I2C Qwiic interface to the Sparkfun MAX-M10S GNSS receiver board
the following picture illustrates how this is done,
The total GNSS data logger IoT setup is shown in the next video,
This SparkFun DataLogger IoT - 9DoF now is storing the GNSS parameters + location data (this also collects data from the internal board accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer) to the micro-SD card and also sending them in JSON format via Node JS server to a cellphone via WiFi, while operating with a 1500 mAH Littium-Ion battery.
Please refer to the previous articles initially described here and here to setup the SparkFun DataLogger IoT - 9DoF. Other I2C Qwiic sensors can be placed in the I2C bus easily as needed. All of these components including the active muliti-band GNSS antenna (L1/L5/E5a/B2a/NavIC) RHCP single-feed stacked-patch antenna element are available at DigiKey. Have a nice day!
