Good day,
We have an ac motor at 600volts that has a break that unclunches at 240 volts. Is it possible that the bridge rectifier also changer the voltages that goes to the break. the motor is oem and the number on the bridge rectifier does not give me anything when i look for it.
I have not seen one that has that before.
Would you have images of it that you can share?
How many pins does it have? just the 4 or does this one have more?
When we put the normal bridge rectifier the voltage for the break was too high. here is the image of the bridge rectifier the motor terminal block has 6 pins.
I am sorry to say that I am not sure either.
I am thinking that it could be a pair of diodes welded to the plate.
However I am not seeing specs for the imaged item.
The shown device is probably a custom made half-wave rectifier and zener in one unit (albeit a bit strange), manufactured by a French company SILEC, In order to be able to propose an alternative solution, you are humbly asked to provide more information. Please provide additional photos of the system, especially the brake (I assume “break” means “brake”, please correct me) unit, showing identification, wiring, more detailed explanation of the operation of the brake, etc.
Cheers, heke
