Button Identification

Hi all,

Just wondering my if anyone can assist with identifying the two different buttons in the pictures? They are from game controllers and just want to have spares on hand.

Thank you in advance

I am sorry to say that I am not seeing that we have a direct match to the switches you show.
I found the 450-2051-1-ND that might work as an option. I am not sure that the actuator would be able to stick out of the controller body once installed though. But the actuator looks like it would be small enough to fit through the holes in the controller with the body being just big enough to not pass through.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there an option with a slightly longer actuator? And is there caps available for this switch?

Most of the photos show the dimensions of the 3D printed components that were modified into the controller. These dimension do not provide the mechanical dimension or look of the actual switch, except for the exposed button top.

Trying to expose the physical switch might prove difficult due to the potting compound or hot snot used to secure the printed components.

Beginning to see that now, will probably have to retrofit a different switch.

Are you able to give some recommendations? What the requirements would be:

Light actuation force

Low travel

~6 x 6 diameter

IP67 / 1 million preferred

Button caps available or be compatible with easily obtainable ones

Come in a small range of height from say 4-6mm, to cover different placements

Massively appreciate the assistance, been a big help.

Hello slight.au,

I was able to find these tactile switches, that are for use with caps that could work. If one of these specifically could work for you, the caps may be listed on the bottom of the individual product page under the Associated Product header.
