I am searching for a cable gland and cable that will maintain a Class 1 Div 1 rating. I am planning on creating a pigtail, my device + your cable gland + your cable 15 ft, other end is the customer responsibility and outside of requirements scope.
Requirements:
- Entry ½” NPT
- Min 7 conductors. (9 or more preferred)
- 18AWG or larger, but smaller is better. Max voltage 24VDC 2.5 A
- Need gland and cable to work together.

I’m understanding the request to be in reference to NEC Article 501, and “cable” to mean the armored sort mentioned in section 1.1, rather than the flexible of section 1.2.
It’s looking as if we don’t have much among our existing listings to address such needs, but non-catalog orders are possible if one doesn’t mind an MOQ and a wait. There’s a few MC-HL cable listings in this section of the Prysmian/General Cable catalog
and I’m finding some glands that look like they may be suitable in this segment of the Eaton portfolio.
