Camera Modules are ready-to-use modules that include an image sensor, lens, and supporting electronics. These devices can be filtered by color, resolution, shutter type, frames per second, lens mount, and more.
SelectionCharacteristics
Color: Indicates the spectrum(s) of light the device is designed to detect.
Resolution: Indicate the number of pixels the device has to make up it’s image.
Frames per Second: Indicates the maximum number of full-frame images per second that an image sensor is capable of transferring.
Shutter: decribes the type of shutter the device uses to let light expose the sensor.
Lens Mount: A callout of the specification for the mount the lens uses.
Sensor: Indicates the specific sensor chip being used.
Type: Indicate the technology being used for the sensing.
Interface: indicates the way the device communicates it’s data.
Pixel Size: indicates the physical dimensions of the imaging pixel used in the sensor.
Mounting Type: Indicates how the device is attached.
Package / Case: Describes the footprint and type of body the item has based on a general standard.
Supplier Device Package: Describes the footprint and type of body the item has based on what the manufacturer names it.
Size / Dimension: The size of the main body of the device.
Height (Max): indicates the height of the item from the face to the back.
