Im trying to replace CD296 420V 560UF made by jianghai. Chatgtp pulls this as a upgrade to what I have(lgx2w561melc50).

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. Part 493-7871-ND looks to be good on the capacitance and voltage. The lead space and diameter appear to be similar to CD296 but the height of LGX2W561MELC50 appears to be taller so you will want to verify LGX2W561MELC50 will fit properly.
