I am looking for a replacement for specific component.
Marked : “EC80XM”
It could be a GDT or crystal, however, I am not able to find any details online about the part. It does appear to have a 4-SOJ package. I am leaning more towards a crystal, though. The processor in the center appears to be a 18F2480 from Microchip. It operates on either 25Mhz or 40MHz. The “E/ML” probably indicates 25MHz. I’m not certain on the pitch of the package for the crystal, do you know the pin spacing (smaller width?)
So far, I can narrow to these options:
When a microcontroller is specified at 25Mhz it can be programmed to operate at anywhere up to 25Mhz. The timing crystal can be any value 25Mhz or lower.
The part marking makes me think this is a 8Mhz crystal.
