Hello Everyone;
I am designing a power converter based on Cascaded H-Bridge Inverter.
in this design, the inverter stage can be powered from :
A- the grid via a three-phase diode rectifier. The output of rectifier are noted : Rect+ and Rect-
B- an external Batteries. The batteries output are noted :Vbat+and Vbat-
I need to switch manually between these sources to feed the inverter stage.
for this purpose, i selected a pins connector:
Pin1 : Rect+
pin2: Vdc+
pin3: Vbat+
pin4: Rect-
pin5: Vdc-
pin6: Vbat-
I selected two jumper (24A and 400V):
a- By inserting a red jumper between pin 1-2 & jumper blue between pin 4-5, the inverter stage is powered by the grid
b- by inserting a red jumper between pin 2-3 & jumper blue between pin 5-6, the inverter stage is powered by the battery
I selected :
1- this connector : 1714308 link
2- This jumper : 3030161 link
The selected jumper can be inserted in the selected connector?
Unfortunately no, those two are not compatible, the wire entries on that connector aren’t a feasible entry point for that jumper. I’d recommend using part number 277-2340-ND as your jumper instead, it’s confirmed compatible with COMBICON series connectors, and the pins on this one are more appropriately sized and spaced to fit that header.
Thank you Sir.
Also, i selected this header 87227-6 (https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/87227-6/295326) to communicate between the microcontroller and the IGBT, and sensors.
I will make communication as follows:
1- first row (6 pins) will be used as input of the power board coming from the microcontroller located on another board: PWM ( 4 channels), enable (2 channels)
2- second (6 pins) row will be used as the output of the power board going to the microcontroller. these signals includes sensors output.
Please can you i can use Pmod cable with this header ?
if it is possible, please what pmod cable do you suggest ?
If not, what solution do you suggest?
