Cree LED Binning

When it comes to LED’s, one important aspect is the Binning that they are in. The Binning can be explained as the group the LED is placed in according to its color. Digi-Key does not separate the LED’s into different bins. If a certain Bin is required, please email the binning information and requested quantity to orders@digikey.com.

In this example we will be using the part number Cree part number CXA2520-0000-000N00R250F-ND .
On the Data Sheet for this LED there will be a Order Code and a Bin Code part number breakdown.

The Bin Code will be found on the Manufacturers Label.

The Bin Code for this part will be CXA2520-50F-S2-N0B-000A4
